I’ve always taken weird pleasure in twisting concepts and meanings around. I’ve also always had problems with keeping my laptop safe (my previous one ended up with an ugly bump on one corner). I know I could just go and buy a laptop case from the store, but all the ones I’ve seen so far are just plain ugly.
You can’t image my joy when I came across Twelvesouth’s laptop cases. It uses the same idea as René Magritte’s “Ceci n’est pas une pipe” painting. It looks like something completely different from what it actually is. What a joyful idea! Twelvesouth claims its case reduces the risk of your laptop being stolen as thieves won’t realize there is a laptop hidden inside a book. However, for me, it has the opposite effect – I don’t care about the laptop, I just want the case!
So, my friends, what should I do? Make my credit card weep or use my money for something else? Any other suggestions of cool laptop cases?
