As we celebrate our 25th anniversary over the next month, we’re paying tribute to the women and men who helped build the success story that is F-Secure. You can experience that story here and help us fight malware in our anniversary arcade game.
Today we speak to our Channel Marketing Manager for Italy Gianni Pintonello.
Where were you 25 years ago?
I was finishing my high-school and planning my summer holiday in Tuscany.
What’s surprised you most since you’ve joined F-Secure?
I like the atmosphere of the company and the humility. We are in a multinational company but we are all on the same level. There’s no difference between how we treat our CEO or someone sitting at reception. Of course, there are differences for roles and responsibility, but it is easy to talk with anyone without any problems. This is the best place I’ve ever worked.
What’s your favorite piece of technology?
Mobile devices and cameras. I love them.
What F-Secure memory is most irreplaceable to you?
Meeting with my colleagues at headquarters. It is always a pleasure to share experiences.
How will the world be different in 25 years?
I would like to have a green world more, with only electric/solar cars. I would like to have big changes in our energy sources. I think we will have big variations in mobile devices and we will do our daily activity using just a web browser. All our personal data will be available in the cloud!
What’s your 25th birthday wish for F-Secure?
All the best of the best. I hope we become the biggest security vendor in the world.
