Help us decide about the like- and share- buttons

Security & Privacy

Like and share poll

We have a problem. The buttons from Facebook etc. that enable you to like and share content we publish are so convenient, but also a privacy threat at the same time. A previous post describes how they are used to track your surfing habits. We want to fix the problem, but all solutions have their own downsides. We need to know a bit more about your preferences to be able to select the optimal solution.

We are grateful if you can spend a minute answering the questions below.

The poll is closed. Thanks to all who participated.

The conclusion is that about half of the readers use the buttons to share or like, at least occasionally. About half are also interested in the counters, at least to some extent. We will return with info about how this affects our button-strategy.

Thanks,
Micke
